Octopus Traders is a manufacturer, not an importer with a showroom. Glass arrives as sheets and leaves as a finished, tested mirror — which is why a one-off size costs a sensible amount and arrives in days.

The process
What happens after you press order
- 01
Sheet selection
Imported float glass, inspected for silver defects before a single cut. Copper-free stock for wet rooms, where the backing must not creep.
- 02
Cutting to your size
Your dimensions go to the table as they were typed. Straight cuts are scored and snapped; curves and organic outlines run on the CNC from the same drawing rule the website previewed.
- 03
Edging & polishing
Every edge is ground flat then polished, so a frameless mirror is safe to handle and reads as a finished object rather than a cut sheet.

Sandblasting the light band
Front-lit designs are masked and blasted. The frosted band is what makes the glow even instead of a visible strip of diodes.
- 05
LED & driver assembly
Strips are bonded to the back panel, wired to a driver rated for the run, and dressed so nothing rattles behind the glass.
- 06
Burn-in & QC
Each mirror is powered up and left running. Touch sensor, dimming, colour switching, demister and Bluetooth are all tested before it is boxed.
- 07
Framing or bevelling
Anodised aluminium profile mitred and bonded, or a polished bevel if you chose frameless.
- 08
Packing & delivery
Corner protection, foam and a crate for anything large. Delivered across Dhaka by our own team, couriered elsewhere.
Servicing
If something fails, it comes back to the same bench
A driver or a touch sensor is a ten-minute job for the people who fitted it. Within the warranty period there is nothing to pay; after it, you pay for the part.
Bring it in
Either showroom accepts warranty returns during opening hours.
Or we collect
Anything large or installed, we collect from Dhaka addresses.
Typical turnaround
Two to three working days for electrical faults.
Out of warranty
Parts at cost plus labour — quoted before we start.
